18:20 (13 Oct)- Microsoft emitió una serie de actualizaciones para el sistema operativo Windows. Más precisamente serán 13 para solucionar un total de 34 vulnerabilidades. Aunque aún no salió al mercado oficialmente, los usuarios... ... de Windows 7 también tendrán una actualización. Los parches se emitiendo a lo largo del día, según informa BBC, y afectan a usuarios de diversas versiones de Windows, Internet Explorer y Office.
Ocho de los boletines fueron calificados como críticos, lo cual hace indispensable que sean instalados. El resto están consideradas como muy importantes.
Esta es una cantidad récord de actualizaciones para un mismo día. En febrero de 2007 se habían publicado 12, misma cifra alcanzada en octubre de 2008.
Por otro lado, Windows 7 -que se venderá oficialmente desde el 22 de octubre- también tendrá una actualización de seguridad orientada al Internet Explorer 8 corriendo bajo ese sistema.
